Thank you to Meagan for tagging me to do this amazing tag!

And thank you to the original creator, Kate, for creating this tag.

  • Answer the questions.
  • Choose female characters from books, movies, TV, anime, Webtoons, etc.
  • Tag as many people as you want, but at least one person.
  • Have fun!

THE TAG

NAME A HEROINE YOU LIKE, BUT WHOM YOU FEEL IS ALWAYS OVERSHADOWED BY THE MALE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY.

Steris from Mistborn: The Alloy Era by Brandon Sanderson. I feel like it’s my fault that I let Wax and Wayne and other male characters overshadow Steris as at first I just felt like she was insignificant to the story but wow did she really grow on me. I love her and I can’t wait to read The Lost Metal as I need to see where her arc story goes.

FOR THAT MATTER, NAME A HEROINE WHOM YOU FEEL IS ALWAYS OVERSHADOWED BY THE OTHER FEMALE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY.

Amren from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas. I love Amren and she is one of the reasons why I cut my hair short in 2017, she is just such a badass but I feel like not many people mention her, it’s always either Feyre, Mor, Nesta or Elain. Love them too but Amren deserves more love too!

NAME A CHARACTER WHO HAD POTENTIAL BUT WAS GREATLY UNDERUTILIZED IN HER STORY.

I have no idea, I can’t think of anyone.

NAME A FEMALE CHARACTER WHO YOU EITHER FIND BETTER IN HER BOOK THAN HER MOVIE, FIND BETTER IN HER MOVIE THAN HER BOOK, OR WHOSE PORTRAYALS YOU FIND EQUAL.

I have to say Ginny from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling as I love book Ginny! I know I don’t say that enough but I did choose to own her wand for a reason. She is just such a great mix of all the rest of her siblings that she is just hard not to love.

NAME A CHARACTER WHO YOU WANT MORE BACKSTORY ON.

Joey from Reckless by Lex Martin, I need to see more of her and her story with Logan. I have heard though that there will be a book following Logan so I’m hoping we get to see a lot of Joey and her backstory.

NAME A CHARACTER WITH TRAITS YOU FEEL ARE SADLY OVERLOOKED BY EVERYONE.

I can’t think of anyone either, sorry.

NAME A MORALLY GREY CHARACTER. (VILLAIN OR ANTI-HERO!)

Zoya from the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I loved reading about her but at the same time, I kind of hated her because she was mean to Alina. We kind of saw her as a bully so kind of like a villain on a small scale. Still, I love her and I can’t wait to read about her in King of Scars soon.

A CHARACTER YOU’RE STUNNED ISN’T MORE FAMOUS.

Eeylyn from Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young. I adore this girl and I think other people will too if they read Sky in the Deep. She is so strong and determined and loves her family. I just love her and will forever want her to be more famous/popular.

A CHARACTER FROM A PIECE OF FICTION YOU’RE AMAZED ISN’T MORE FAMOUS.

Princess Lia from The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson. Again, I love Lia as she sticks with what she believes in, she does what she thinks is right and she wants to design her own future. I just really admire her and I think she is a great role module in Young Adult reading age.
